There's no place like home for Roane County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Calhoun Red Devils on Tuesday by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 back in March.

Roane County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was C KINDER, who went 2-for-4 with one run. C CASTO also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Roane County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Calhoun, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Roane County will be playing at home against Braxton County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calhoun, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-1 win against Hannan on the 30th.
