Evansville Harrison and Gibson Southern are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Titans at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Evansville Harrison's offense. They lost 10-0 to Castle on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Gibson Southern didn't have quite enough to beat Princeton on Thursday and fell 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Brayden Campbell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Collin Higginbotham, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Gibson Southern's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for Evansville Harrison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Evansville Harrison couldn't quite get it done against Gibson Southern in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
