The Essex Tech Hawks came up short against the North Reading Hornets on Friday, falling 51-26. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Essex Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Reading, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
