Pepin/Alma is a perfect 5-0 against Whitehall since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Pepin/Alma will head out on the road to face off against Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. Pepin/Alma's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Whitehall's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Pepin/Alma lost 8-2 to Boyceville on Monday. Pepin/Alma has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Whitehall fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Osseo-Fairchild on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 10-7 to the Thunder. Norse fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Thunder since on Thursday.

Carson Coburn and Taylor Johnson did some serious damage despite the final result: Coburn went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Johnson went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Coburn has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Harlow Foss, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

Whitehall dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pepin/Alma, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-3.

Pepin/Alma took their victory against Whitehall in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pepin/Alma since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
