Basketball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Howard duked it out with Viborg/Hurley on Thursday. The Howard Tigers fell 56-45 to the Viborg/Hurley Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Cougars are ranked 30th).

Howard's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Viborg/Hurley, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

As of now, neither Howard nor Viborg/Hurley have any future games scheduled.
