Buffalo Gap has gone a perfect 4-0 against Parry McCluer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bison will head out to square off against the Fighting Blues at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Buffalo Gap couldn't beat Stuarts Draft on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Bison took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 23 runs the game before, Parry McCluer was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockbridge County. The Fighting Blues haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Parry McCluer's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Buffalo Gap, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Everything went Buffalo Gap's way against Parry McCluer in their previous matchup back in April, as Buffalo Gap made off with a 22-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
