It was a proper cat-fight when Calhoun challenged Central on Friday. The Tigers took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-39 win over the Lions. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Christian Lawrence and Ryan Simpson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Lawrence went 8-for-20 on his way to 19 points and four steals, while Simpson posted three points along with 12 boards and seven blocks. The game was Lawrence's tenth in a row with at least 15 points.

Calhoun now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4.
