It was fun while it lasted, but Tarbut V' Torah's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Saturday. They lost 70-44 to the Garden Grove Argonauts. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Neiman Quach, who posted 14 points and five steals for Garden Grove. Those five steals gave Quach a new career-high. Drue Anzai was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tarbut V' Torah fell to 7-1. As for Garden Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Tarbut V' Torah will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on First Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Garden Grove will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Katella at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
