Lincolnton is 9-1 against West Caldwell since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Wolves will square off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Lincolnton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lincolnton fell victim to Bandys and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Lincolnton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 366th, while Bandys are ranked 161st).

Meanwhile, West Caldwell has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 9-2 to Maiden on Tuesday.

West Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-14-2. As for Lincolnton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Everything went Lincolnton's way against West Caldwell in their previous meeting back in March, as Lincolnton made off with a 5-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
