Softball Recap: Quitman Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Quitman's offense. They came up short against the Winnsboro Raiders on Tuesday, falling 15-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Quitman's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Winnsboro, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Quitman will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Pittsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winnsboro, they will head out on the road to face off against Overton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
