Tippecanoe Valley extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Ian Cooksey. The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings had just enough and edged the Jimtown Jimmies out 38-35 thanks in part to Cooksey, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Jimtown lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Edward Potter, who posted seven points. Branden King was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.

Tippecanoe Valley pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Jimtown, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-10.

Coming up, Tippecanoe Valley and Garrett will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Jimtown, they will face off against Bethany Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jimtown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.
