Softball Game Preview: Lowell Catholic Crusaders vs. Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams

The Lowell Catholic Crusaders will head out to square off against the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Lowell Catholic hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Sunday, Lowell Catholic came up short against Danvers and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, Shawsheen Valley Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to Greater Lowell Tech.

Lowell Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Shawsheen Valley Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything went Lowell Catholic's way against Shawsheen Valley Tech when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Lowell Catholic made off with an 18-2 win. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
