Volleyball Game Preview: Urbana University Illineks vs. Tuscola Warriors + Official Tickets

The Urbana University Illineks will challenge the Tuscola Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Urbana University comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Tuesday, Urbana University came up short against Arthur-Okaw Christian and fell 2-0.

While Urbana University was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Tuscola also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Urbana by a score of 2-0.

Tuscola couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Urbana a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 30-28.

Urbana University will have to contain Chloe Fowler as she made an impact in Tuscola's last game. She had six digs and five aces.

Tuscola's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Urbana University, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-23.

Urbana University couldn't quite get it done against Tuscola in their previous matchup back in October of 2019 as they fell 2-0. Can the Illineks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
