Volleyball Recap: Pepperell Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pepperell came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bremen Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since August 23rd.

Pepperell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Piper Hillis paced Pepperell's offense, picking up seven kills. Hillis got some help from Brinkley Wheat and her nine assists.

Pepperell's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Bremen, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-6.

Looking ahead, Pepperell will take on Dalton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bremen, they will square off against Cherokee County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
