Volleyball Recap: Daniel Wins High-Profile Game Against North Atlanta

Daniel is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of North Atlanta. The Lions came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Ava Ross was nothing short of spectacular: she had 13 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

North Atlanta's loss came despite strong showings from Dorothy Perno and Eleni Karagiannis. Perno had ten assists and five digs, while Karagiannis had ten digs and two assists.

Daniel's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for North Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daniel will square off against Greer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Atlanta, they will head out to take on Midtown at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
