Basketball Recap: Liberty Creek Triumphs

Liberty Creek won the last time they faced Sycamore and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Liberty Creek Wolves walked away with a 60-51 victory over the Sycamore War Eagles.

Sycamore lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hicks Hunter, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 12 points. Conner Jones was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.

Liberty Creek's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Sycamore, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Liberty Creek has already played their next matchup, a 58-39 victory against Westmoreland on the 17th. As for Sycamore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-59 loss against Pearl-Cohn on the 17th.
