Cheylin had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Western Plains Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cheylin was led to victory by Ashlyn Schields and Emily Serrano. Schields had 25 assists and seven digs, while Serrano had 11 digs. That's the most assists Schields has posted over her last five matches.

Cheylin's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Western Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-13.

Cheylin has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wheatland-Grinnell on the 11th. As for Western Plains, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Greeley County on the 14th.
