Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Shawnee Heights

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Shawnee Heights and Bishop Miege meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Stags with a sharp 3-0 victory. The contest marked the Thunderbirds' most dominant win of the season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Shawnee Heights took every set by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Despite the loss, Bishop Miege still got an impressive performance from Player #9, who had 15 digs and one assist. Addy Handlin also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.
