After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Bernard, East Lyme was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Woodstock Academy Centaurs by a score of 55-42. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Centaurs: they've now won six in a row.

East Lyme's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Timpano, who went 8 for 17 to rack up 20 points. Timpano is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Oliver Hibbard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 boards.

East Lyme's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Woodstock Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
