Northwood benefitted from Powell in 74-36 victory
Drake Powell was a major factor in Northwood's win over Southeast Alamance on Tuesday. Powell was dialed in and scored 16 points along with nine assists and six rebounds. Considering what he did the last time these two duked it out (he scored 18 points along with five assists and four steals), Southeast Alamance should've known better.
Powell and Northwood will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jordan-Matthews at 7:30 p.m. Northwood got just the result they wanted when they last faced Jordan-Matthews, probably because Powell had a great game then too: he scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
