Jefferson waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Unity Christian Knights. Ava Rief had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Jefferson.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 6-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for Unity Christian, they moved to 6-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will welcome Sioux City North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unity Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sioux Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
