Recap: Tree of Life Christian Trojans vs. Mechanicsburg Indians
There's no place like home for the Tree of Life Christian Trojans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They escaped with a win on Thursday against Mechanicsburg by the margin of a single free throw, 38-37.
Ronald Amoah continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Sanders, who scored nine points.
Tree of Life Christian pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Mechanicsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tree of Life Christian will take on Liberty Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mechanicsburg, they will be playing at home against Greenon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
