Softball Recap: Rayne's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Rayne's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the North Vermilion Patriots by a score of 11-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Rayne's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13-1. As for North Vermilion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rayne will challenge Bunkie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Vermilion, they will take on North DeSoto at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
