Recap: St. Joseph Cadets vs. Bassick Lions

The St. Joseph Cadets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They put the hurt on Bassick with a sharp 83-62 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win St. Joseph has managed all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph to victory, but perhaps none more so than TJ Wright, who scored 30 points along with six assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wright has scored at least 25% of St. Joseph's points. Another player making a difference was Sean Christy, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.

The win was the third in a row for St. Joseph, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Bassick, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

St. Joseph will head out on the road to face off against Stamford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Stamford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Friday. As for Bassick, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bridgeport Central at 7:00 p.m.
