Volleyball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Victorious

Christian Brothers Academy won the last time they faced Central Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Colts came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Christian Brothers Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Central Regional between 20 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20.

Sean Kennedy paced Christian Brothers Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Kennedy got some help from Jake Tarzian and his 22 assists. Kennedy was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

The win got Christian Brothers Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Central Regional, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Brothers Academy will take on Southern Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Regional, they will face off against Howell at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
