Defeat or not, Palmetto Ridge got some senior leadership from Juju Castillo and Jeriah Muldrow. Castillo dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Muldrow posted 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those seven boards gave Muldrow a new career-high. Isaac Garcia was another key player, putting up four points.
Lely's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Palmetto Ridge, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-1.
