Football Game Preview: East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans vs. Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets

East Syracuse-Minoa hasn't had much luck against Fayetteville-Manlius recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Spartans will look to defend their home field against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Fayetteville-Manlius' offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: East Syracuse-Minoa hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Spartans never let Auburn get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory last Friday. Considering the Spartans have won six games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville-Manlius posted their closest win since October 4, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Corcoran, sneaking past 21-18.

Fayetteville-Manlius now has a winning record of 5-4. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
