League recap: Fultondale extends winning streak with victory over Ranburne

Fultondale extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 6 this week by beating Ranburne, 48-21. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Wellborn took down Pleasant Valley 70-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Woodland's John Wes Adcock and Tyler Rollins have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Adcock has thrown for 956 yards this season, while Rollins, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 13 catches for 378 yards. Ardarius Stewart from Fultondale leads the league in rushing with 1378 yards.

The Bobcats' Michael Howard needs only 60 yards against Cleburne County next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Howard has rushed for 940 yards on 133 carries so far this year.

The Panthers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on the Raiders.
