Football Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Springfield finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were beaten by the McClave Cardinals 43-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Longhorns were not able to get on the board.

Even if they lost, Springfield's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Logan Spires refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

The defeat snapped Springfield's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record. As for McClave, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
