Soccer Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Medina Valley's Winning Streak

Medina Valley and Vandegrift squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Medina Valley had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Vipers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Medina Valley haven't been shut out since back in January.

Medina Valley moved to 20-2-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Vandegrift, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7-3.

Medina Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vandegrift, they will challenge Round Rock Westwood at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Round Rock Westwood will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Vandegrift surely won't give up without a fight.
