There's no place like home for Gill St. Bernard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Newark Academy Minutemen with a sharp 12-3 win on Saturday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

With the victory, Gill St. Bernard's broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6. As for Newark Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gill St. Bernard's will square off against Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newark Academy, they will take on Cedar Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Minutemen surely won't give up without a fight.
