Volleyball Recap: Summit Academy Comes Up Short

Summit Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Timpanogos Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-15.

Summit Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Timpanogos, their victory ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-20.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Summit Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Provo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Timpanogos will square off against rival Orem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
