Thomas Schmitt, St. Mary's Academy's leading rusher, solidified his role on Saturday. Schmitt produced his best game of the campaign: he rushed for 121 yards and one TD on only eight carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 79 yards.

Looking ahead, Schmitt and St. Mary's Academy will head out to face off against Pembroke Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
