Basketball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar suffered their closest defeat since November 29th on Friday. They fell just short of the George Ranch Longhorns by a score of 42-39. The Texans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for George Ranch, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Lamar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-46 loss against Jersey Village on the 27th. As for George Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-58 defeat against Crosby on the 27th.
