Soccer Game Preview: Concord vs. South Rowan

The Concord Spiders will head out to face off against the South Rowan Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Concord has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Concord's offense. They came up short against Robinson on Thursday, falling 8-0. Concord have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, South Rowan was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Robinson.

South Rowan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Concord might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from South Rowan in their previous meeting back in March. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Spiders were down 3-0.
