Rabun Gap-Nacoochee posted their biggest victory since January 24th on Saturday. They blew past the Mill Creek Hawks 73-52. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Hawks are ranked 66th).

The victory made it two in a row for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Mill Creek, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will host Walhalla at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Mill Creek and Buford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Buford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Mill Creek likes a good challenge.
