Soccer Game Preview: Landmark Academy vs. Genesee

Landmark Academy will head out to face off against the Genesee Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Landmark Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Landmark Academy's offense. They lost 3-0 to Memphis on Monday.

Meanwhile, Genesee came up short against More Academy on Tuesday, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Genesee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 459th, while More Academy are ranked 226th).

Landmark Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Genesee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Landmark Academy might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Genesee in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can Landmark Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
