MaxPreps Boys Basketball All-American Team

Each year since 2006 MaxPreps.com has recognized the top 50 high school boys basketball players in America. Past honorees include NBA All-Stars Kevin Durant (2006), Blake Griffin (2007), Kevin Love (2006, 2007) and Derrick Rose (2006, 2007).

Selections are based on team success, statistics and local, regional and state honors from the recently-completed season. Potential at the college or professional level is not a consideration. Players in post-graduate programs are not eligible for inclusion.

Dorian Finney-Smith, Norcom (Portsmouth, Va.)

Guided Norcom to back-to-back Group AAA state titles and a No. 3 national ranking, putting up over 18 points and 10 rebounds per outing.

USA U17 standout and future Tar Heel pushed the Ambassadors to 73 wins over the past three seasons with a pair of private school state titles, contributing 23 points and nearly nine boards a game as a senior.

Peach State powers Miller Grove and Milton were loaded with talent, but it was Brogdon emerging as the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Player of the Year after leading GAC to a Class AA state title by posting 25.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game.



DaJuan Coleman, Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, N.Y.)
