Basketball Recap: Bushnell-Prairie City Find Success

Bushnell-Prairie City won the last time they faced Lewistown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Lewistown Indians. The Spartans didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Bushnell-Prairie City's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Lewistown, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bushnell-Prairie City has already played their next match (against Peoria Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lewistown will square off against Elmwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewistown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
