Basketball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Braden River Pirates 71-26. The Seminoles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Braden River's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Butler, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Bailey, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 11 points and five assists.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Southeast has already played their next contest (against Lakewood Ranch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Braden River, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
