Basketball Game Preview: Lake Taylor Titans vs. Manor Mustangs

Lake Taylor hasn't had much luck against Manor recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lake Taylor Titans will square off against the Manor Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Manor took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Taylor, who comes in off a win.

Lake Taylor is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Churchland: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went Lake Taylor's way against Churchland on Wednesday as Lake Taylor made off with a 40-15 victory. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Manor came up short against Maury on Wednesday and fell 45-37.

Manor's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 17-2. As for Lake Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Lake Taylor lost to Manor on the road by a decisive 49-34 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Lake Taylor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
