Brown City lost to Marlette on May 5th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Green Devils put the hurt on the Red Raiders with a sharp 14-4 victory. The Green Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Brown City's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Marlette, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
