Game recap: Crete-Monee High School Football Team defeats Simeon

CRETE, Ill. - Crete-Monee (Crete, Ill.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as Frank Douglas thew a touchdown to Kevon Love with with 3:00 to go in the third quarter, bringing the team to victory over Simeon (Chicago, Ill.) 14-12.

The Warriors led 7-6 at halftime, but the Wolverines recaptured the lead on a rushing touchdown with 8:00 left in the third.

Crete-Monee expanded its lead to two points entering the fourth quarter. CM's lone score in the quarter came on a Douglas touchdown pass to Love.

The loss was the third in a row for Simeon. The win brought Crete-Monee's winning streak to three games.
