Recap: Jordan Red Jackets vs. Northeast Raiders

The Jordan Red Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They suffered a tough 75-54 defeat at the hands of Northeast. Jordan was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northeast apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Jatavion Zellner was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with seven assists and six rebounds for Northeast. Zellner is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Amani Brown, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.

Jordan dropped their record down to 2-21 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northeast, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-18 record this season.

Jordan will be playing in front of their home fans against Kendrick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast, they will head out on the road to take on Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rutland has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests.
