Softball Recap: Caston Comes Up Short

Logansport hit Caston with a ten-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets came up short against the Berries, falling 14-0. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 8-4 to the Berries when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Caston and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Logansport, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Coming up, Caston will head out on the road to face off against Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Logansport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Huntington North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
