Cocoa Beach had won two straight games and Max Louis did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Cocoa Beach Minutemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-56 win over the Astronaut War Eagles thanks in part to Louis, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times he's played.

Cocoa Beach's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Astronaut, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Cocoa Beach has already played their next matchup, a 65-36 defeat against Bayside on the 21st. As for Astronaut, they will head out on the road to square off against Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
