Basketball Game Preview: Central Texas Christian Lions vs. Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders

Central Texas Christian and Round Rock Christian Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 2:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Central Texas Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

While Central Texas Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by Memorial Christian Academy to the tune of 61-21 on Friday. Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Round Rock Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They came up short against New Braunfels Thunder, falling 63-37.

Central Texas Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Central Texas Christian came up short against Round Rock Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February, falling 75-62. Thankfully for Central Texas Christian, Wes Owens (who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
