Football Recap: Chattanooga Prep Sentinels vs. Battle Ground Academy Wildcats

Chattanooga Prep extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-6. They were beaten by the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats 44-0. The shutout was out of character for the Sentinels seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

As for Battle Ground Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points over those games.

It was another big night for Kaedyn Marable, who threw for 163 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Max Curry did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 82 receiving yards.

Chattanooga Prep will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chattanooga Central on the 24th. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pope John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
