Fairview is 0-10 against Creek Wood since April of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. Fairview will look to defend their home field against Creek Wood at 5:30 p.m. Fairview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Cameryn Dunn and Abbie Hammon did most of the damage at the plate: Dunn scored four runs while going 2-for-3, while Hammon scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Hammon a new career-high in doubles (two). Mollie Street was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Fairview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lawson only posted an OBP of .450.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Creek Wood ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Camden Central, sneaking past 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Elizabeth Martin spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, Creek Wood saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Howell, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Kendal Bryant, who went 2-for-6 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Creek Wood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fairview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .397. However, it's not like Creek Wood struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Fairview couldn't quite finish off Creek Wood in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 9-7. Will Fairview have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
