            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Exeter Township, Daniel Boone was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-5  win over the Conrad Weiser Scouts. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  10-1  last Thursday.
 Greyson Bell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned  (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Owen Howells, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Zachary Hasara also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
Daniel Boone's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-9. As for Conrad Weiser,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-12.
 Daniel Boone wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  4-3  defeat against Cedar Crest on the 17th. As for Conrad Weiser, they have also already played their next contest,  an  8-0  loss against Twin Valley on the 21st.
